The new TSS!

Well, I said I’d give it a chance, and now I’m glad I did.

The Screen Savers came back tonight with a new set, new music, a new theme song, and a new logo. I was so excited when 7:00 rolled around that I was racing to push the record button on the VCR.

In short, I loved it. The new gadgets on the set (touchscreen, purty) and the overall design are excellent, and the show was still the same (I hope it stays that way). I love the new graphics, and I think the show could really go places while still staying the kind of show I love. The funniest part: the opening sequence. Marty on a bike – reminds me of that Call-a-Thon a while back gone oh-so-wrong. Glad to see the other people on the show got credit, too. We’ll see where it goes from here.

Along with this, I launched a new layout for freegrandmamorrone.com. It now has the old TSS graphics for those who want a taste of the old set and old show. That’ll be the place I hang around when I need some time to reminisce.
