How it feels to be 20

I had a terrific birthday on Tuesday. I got two USB switches [buy] for my keyboard and mouse to switch between my iMac and PC (I think I’ll be posting an update about what I’ve got for computers later), SimCity 4 [buy], a Logitech Elite Keyboard [buy], a Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-250 [buy] capture card, and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off [buy]. The WinTV didn’t come with the cord that was promised, but I e-mailed them and they said they’d send me one. Good service. I like that.

More importantly, I got lots of cards (etc.) from my friends and family both online and offline. That really meant a lot to me. Also, I got a nice cake and got to spend some time with my friends; that’s the best present I received. Who knows, we might even have another excuse to go out to eat somewhere soon.

It’s nice not to be a teenager anymore. It doesn’t really feel different, but knowing I passed that stage of my life is a nice feeling.
