The University of Illinois (Champaign-Urbana) has launched a service called the Music Recommendation System. This system reads your iTunes music ratings (Mac OR Win) and gives you recommendations based on what you’ve already rated.

I thought of something like this a while ago, and I was trying to make a site like it. This saves me a lot of work, and it seems to be pretty promising.

Due to the nature of recommendations, the more people who use the service, the better the recommendations will be. If you use iTunes, please rate your music and then submit it to the site so we can all get better recommendations!
