There’ll be more cars than a beach’s got sand

I’m headed down to Mansfield, MA, with Amber and the crew tomorrow to check out Dave Matthews and his band. You might’ve heard of them.

I’m really, really, really excited about it. Many of the new things I’ve tried with Amber (both when we were going out and now) have turned out really well – softball, dancing, kayaking, and now this week of concerts we’ll be doing in greater Boston – and I’m really looking forward to going with the group on a little mini road trip. We’re renting an SUV, I guess, so we can get comfortable for the ride down. Between all of us, I’ve heard we have all the DMB CD’s, so we’ll probably be doing some karaoke, too. That’ll be interesting in itself; maybe I can do some of the melodies and do drums while other people do the singing (since I know I don’t have the best voice in the world). Or maybe I’ll sing in bass. That seems to be a hit.

I’ve just got so much to say about it… maybe too much… I guess I’d talk about it everyday when people ask “Where are you going?” I mean, what would you say?
