What police do when they’re bored

July 14, 2004 at 7:45 am · Comments (0)

Yesterday I was headed to my dentist appointment from work (no cavities, woo!) and I noticed that a state trooper pulled out into traffic from the median. I kept going and saw that two others had pulled cars over. In total, five state troopers were hanging out in the median right outside of Hogan Road, waiting to pull cars over. They were still there when I went back two hours later. They must’ve really boosted their tallies with that kind of stunt; I’m just glad I’d seen them going back so that I knew to go 55 when I returned.
